Pillar 2
The problem and our response
Status: PlannedConflict, terrorism, displacement and inter-clan tensions weaken trust and increase exclusion. Children and young people returning from armed-group involvement may face trauma, stigma and barriers to safe reintegration.
We support inclusive community dialogue, peaceful dispute resolution and safe reintegration pathways in partnership with child-protection, psychosocial, education and rehabilitation services.
Example activities
- Peace dialogues and local peace committees
- Reconciliation discussions and family dialogue
- Stigma-reduction sessions and referral support
Expected outputs
Dialogue sessions held, community platforms supported, participation agreements reached and referral pathways strengthened.
Intended outcomes
Greater trust and cohesion, disputes handled peacefully, and safer reintegration for conflict-affected children and youth.
