10 · 2026–2028 strategic ambitions

What we aim to contribute in our first three years.

10,000+

direct participants in trauma-informed healing sessions, survivor dialogue, and community peacebuilding.

100,000+

people reached through radio, digital channels, public storytelling, and awareness campaigns.

2,000+

women and young people in leadership development, peace education, mentoring, and community action.

700+

individuals assisted to connect with health, psychosocial, protection, legal, education, or social-support services.

300+

ethical survivor-led stories, radio features, digital campaigns, learning materials, and awareness products.

250+

facilitators, elders, women leaders, youth mentors, and community representatives trained in trauma-informed, conflict-sensitive practice.

50+

community dialogue forums and locally led peacebuilding initiatives supported.

40+

formal collaboration arrangements with civil society, protection services, educators, media, and peacebuilding actors.

35+

local groups, peace committees, women's and youth networks, and schools strengthened in safeguarding and referral practice.

15+

survivor-led community hubs established or strengthened as safe places for dialogue, youth participation, storytelling, and referral.

These are forward-looking ambitions, not guaranteed results. Achievement depends on confirmed funding, community trust, capable partnerships, safeguarding arrangements, security conditions, and operating capacity. MAANKAAL will review and refine them as evidence and experience develop.

13 · Sustainability and growth

Deliberate, responsible growth.

Long-term sustainability depends on more than funding: trusted community relationships, strong governance, capable local leadership, ethical practice, evidence of impact, and partnerships that strengthen rather than replace local ownership. MAANKAAL will begin with focused initiatives, learn from implementation, and expand only where there is clear community value, capacity, and sustainable support.
